When two people are able to give well, the love between them elevates into greater selflessness. When two focus on giving, both receive more and the desires of each are more deeply fulfilled. We think we need attachments because that is what we are most familiar with, but when we start releasing our patterns of fear we are able to be much more present, energetic and compassionate — with greater ease we can give the love that will most support each other’s happiness. Detachment does not mean we no longer care it just means that our cravings/expectations are no longer blocking our mental clarity.
